Job Summary

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team! The Product Owner will collaborate with cross-functional teams and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing features for product implementations. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering stakeholder involvement, gathering valuable input, and effectively communicating progress throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback and prioritize features accordingly.
  • Requirement Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document user stories, features, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize the product backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies, and adjust priorities as needed to maximize ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, UX/UI designers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of product increments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product quality, team performance, and development processes.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
  • Continuously prioritize and refine the product backlog to ensure that it reflects the current needs of the business and the customer.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant experience such as photo enforcement or transportation; relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) are a plus.
  • Demonstrated working experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
  • Proven track record in SaaS (Software as a Service) and cloud environments, with a deep understanding of the principles and best practices associated with cloud-based solutions, and IoT-related projects.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with a focus on iterative development, backlog management, and sprint planning to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to drive product vision and roadmap execution.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively collaborating with remote and international teams, fostering seamless communication and coordination across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternative solutions, and mitigating any engineering roadblocks.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards common goals, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and stakeholder expectations, while maintaining focus on delivering value to customers.
